There’s so much to see on this 2 Days Lake Mburo Safari: Bushbuck (lots of them), impalas (you wont find them elsewhere in Uganda), the defassa waterbuck, topi, dwarf and marsh mongoose, warthogs, common duiker, plain zebra, antelopes (some of the largest you will see in Africa). If you are lucky, you will see a lion and a lot of people get lucky. You will definitely see leopards and hyenas too.
If you are a bird enthusiast, you are in luck. You will scope out plenty of species. A boat ride 0n the lake will reveal some of the species located in the papyrus swamps like the mysterious African finfoot, the enigmatic shoebill among so many others.
2 Days Lake Mburo Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
We pick you up from any place in Kampala or Entebbe and depart for the park. In the park we will go on a late afternoon game-viewing drive.
Day 2: Game Drive & Transfer to Kampala
At dawn, we will leave the lodge and go to the park for another game drive and walk before beginning our journey back to Kampala.
