It’s interesting to spot the rare and unique northern species, namely; reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx, gerenuk, and Somali Ostrich if you take a safari in July and September months, you have opportunities to meet the great wildebeest migration crossing from Serengeti to Maasai Mara national reserve.

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Welcome to Nairobi – the world’s safari capital, meet our safari guide at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport who will transfer you through a traffic – free road to your hotel.

Nairobi presents an array of accommodation facilities, ranging from 5 star luxurious hotels to budget affordable hotels and guesthouses, all located in the heart of the city. Upon arriving at the hotel, prepare to spend the rest of the evening relaxing and rewinding in preparation of the next day’s epic safari.

Day 2: Travel to Samburu National Reserve

Samburu is definitely “Where Nature Defies Itself” and home to numerous species of wildlife and birdlife all together. After an early breakfast, depart from Nairobi and head to the less explored Samburu national reserve.

This is a scenic drive traversing through the lower slopes of Mount Kenya and via the equator where you will stop for memorable pictures.

Arrival time in the park is approximately lunch time, where you will take a rest at the banks of Ewaso Nyiro River providing unequalled views of the pleasant Ewaso Nyiro River and amazing wildlife like elephants and crocodiles.

A game drive later in the evening rewards travelers with sunset views of the entire Samburu undulating Savannah teeming with beautiful wildlife, birdlife and beautiful flora.

Day 3: Game drive in Samburu National Reserve and discover the “Special Five”

On this third day, have a full game drive in search of Africa’s Big Five mammals or the “Northern Five” that are unique only to the North equator region. These include Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and Somali ostrich.

Other big cats such as lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas and leopards are as well permanent residents in Samburu National park.

Gaze at the red elephants as they bathe from the dust in the red soil, a common characteristic of Samburu reserve. As the sun sets, the beautiful skies of Samburu offer unequalled opportunities for star Gazing.

A safari to Samburu National reserve would be incomplete without taking a cultural tour to one of the indigenous Samburu village to learn about their history, traditions, and enjoy their vibrant performance.

Day 4: Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

 This will be another exciting safari day, filled with memories and unique adventures. Depart from Samburu after breakfast and drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy – East Africa’s largest black Rhino sanctuary and home to 2 of the world’s remaining northern white rhinos.

 Following Sudan’s (a northern white rhino) death in March 2018, only 2 white rhinos are currently inhabiting the park; these include Najin (Sudan’s daughter) and Fatu (Sudan’s granddaughter).

Arrive at Ol Pejeta around lunch time and relax in preparation for the afternoon’s exclusive game viewing experience. This afternoon game drive begins with a tour to a chimpanzee sanctuary which gives you opportunities to learn about the history of the sanctuary and rescue stories of various chimps, and as well a visit to Baraka – the Black Rhino.

Ol Pejeta conservancy has a higher wildlife – to – area ratio than any other Kenyan national park.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Naivasha. Boat Excursion in the afternoon

Depart Ol Pejeta Conservancy in the morning after breakfast and drive to Lake Naivasha for another lifetime safari experience. Expect to arrive in the afternoon, check in at the lodge and have lunch.

This day’s highlight is a boat trip on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari on the adjacent crescent island. Both experiences are equally amazing! Lake Naivasha is historical and played a pivotal role in hosting a naturalist and popular author, Joy Adamson known for her book, “Born Free” which describes her experiences with Elsa, a lion cub which she raised and later went on to gain international fame.

In the evening, be rewarded with sights of different animals including giraffes, vervet monkeys, waterbucks, colobus monkeys, and regular visitors the hippos.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart Naivasha for Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserve – the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This is a scenic journey that goes through the great rift valley which runs from Syria to Mozambique; stop for photography and admire the breathtaking views of its escarpments.

Continue to the Mara, arrive in the afternoon, check in at the lodge, and dedicate the evening to a slow game drive on the shores of Mara River.

Day 7: Game safari in Maasai Mara National Reserve

On this day, wake up to a palatable breakfast and have two game drives in the park. An early morning game drive under the clear skies to view countless mammal species summing up to over 80 species. Spotting Africa’s big five is a guarantee, you will not only spot, but also have very close encounters with the lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs and many others.

Have an evening game drive still as you drive to the Maasai village for a cultural encounter with one of the most welcoming and hospitable tribes in Africa. Enjoy the traditional performances, buy local souvenirs as well as tasting the local cuisines.

Day 8: Second Game Viewing Experience in Maasai Mara National Reserve

This is a second day of exclusive wildlife safari in the Mara – Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve. Known to have one of Africa’s most sought after mammal species, notably the Big Five, Maasai Mara reserve is without doubt the best destination to visit in Kenya and East Africa at large.

Spend the morning and afternoon at the lodge, enjoying the pool side, BBQs or just cock tails in the onsite bar. Begin an optional game drive at 4:00pm where you once again set out to explore amazing wildlife and beautiful scenery that is unique only to Maasai Mara.

Day 9: Maasai Mara to Nairobi. End of trip

Take breakfast, followed by transfer to Nairobi city. Depending on your flight time, have dinner or lunch at the popular Carnivore Restaurant, dubbed “the ultimate beast of feast”. Lake Nakuru on the other hand is famous with its main attractions which include Pink flamingos and the northern white rhinos. The lake is home to plenty of wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, monkeys, gazelles, zebras, buffalos and several antelopes.

Day 1: Travel to Amboseli national park

Early morning, the driver guide picks you from the hotel where you slept the previous night. He will brief you about the whole trip movements and then start the journey to Amboseli national park. Drive through the rift valley escarpments and arrive in the afternoon for lunch and check in. Have an evening game drive in the park to view some of the wildlife species that dwell here. Sights of elephants, buffaloes, wildebeests, warthogs and many other animals. Returning to the lodge will be in the late evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive and travel to Lake Nakuru

After an early breakfast, have a game drive throughout the park to catch up with the morning risers as they move out of their hide outs to hunt and the nocturnal rushing back to their hide outs. You will spot huge herds of elephants and buffalos, spot zebras, warthogs, wildebeests, gazelles, bushbucks and many others.

In the afternoon after lunch, travel to Lake Nakuru national park. Still drive through the rift valley, arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Game drive and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

After taking a well-deserved breakfast, proceed on a morning game drive through the park for stunning views of the wooded and bushy grasslands as well as the ecological diversity and habitats of several wildlife species. You will also spot the beautiful Nakuru Lake of flamingos. You will spot thousands of flamingos, sometimes even painting the water pink. In the afternoon have lunch and then drive to Masai Mara national reserve; a renowned destination for its extensive savannas and the big game animals.

Day 4: Full day game drive in Masai Mara National Park

Pre-breakfast game drive in search of nocturnal animals and early risers which include lions, leopards, hyenas, vultures, owls, etc. View and photograph them as you return to the Camp for breakfast.

Spend the entire afternoon at leisure or take an optional hot air balloon ride to view the entire Masaai Mara reserve at 360 degrees.

Day 5: Second day game drive and Masai Community tours

Wake up to a delicious breakfast and head out for a full day game drive in Maasai Mara. Game drives in Maasai Mara are ones that immediately expose you to the big five in just the first few minutes of the drive, having real up close encounters with the lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, warthogs, zebras and many others.

Have lunch and then visit the Maasai Cultural village for an encounter with one of the world’s most kind and hospitable people. Enjoy the traditional dances, taste local delicacies and personal interactions with the local people.

Day 6: Departure

In the morning, have breakfast and drive back to Nairobi for your departure flight.

Day 1: Pick-Up and Transfer to Masai Mara.

On arrival, our expert guide will warmly welcome you to the wonder land of Nairobi – Kenya. Thereafter, the guide will brief you about all the activities that will transpire while in MASAI MARA (The African Massage).  You will be driven through the smooth tarmac road from the airport and later on, receiving a very memorable welcome by the rough road to the park, this is all part of the experience this 3-days offers.  

Day 2: Have a Game drive and Masai cultural encounter

After an Early morning breakfast, you will head to the park for yet another very interesting Game drive as you traverse the savanna grassland of Masai Mara to have an encounter with the different unique wildlife species. Here, you stand a chance of spotting several game such as Buffalos, elephants, lions among others.

You also view the different bird species flying from one place to another, very nice looking with sweet melodies all over the jungle. This experience can last up to 4hours depending on the direction of the drive. Remember to come a long with a very good camera, umbrella, binoculars, and any other items to enable you do the viewing.

Day 3: Transfer to Nairobi International Airport

The driver guide will drive you through the gentle slopes as you enjoy the pleasant views of plantations and local homesteads.
